Rasmussen Reports April 16
Despite reports that President Obama plans to begin a push for immigration reform,
voters rank it fifth out of five priorities he has proposed this year in the latest
Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Forty-one percent (41%) now see deficit reduction as the top priority while 26%
see health care reform as most important. Eleven percent (11%) say the search for
new energy sources should be the most important objective, followed by nine percent
(9%) who say the president's educational goals are their top concern.
Why does everyone want to hide under the bed when it comes to illegal immigration? No one wants to do anything about it or even talk about it. If you're against illegal immigration you're marked as a racist. Ridiculous, isn't it? It's called ILLEGAL immigration for a reason. Aren't we supposed to be law abiding citizens? Then why do we let these people come into our country illegally and not prosecute them? I don't understand it. I really don't.
On Immigration, Large Gap Remains Between Mainstream America and Political Class
Sixty-six percent (66%) of likely voters nationwide say it is Very Important for
the government to improve its enforcement of the borders and reduce illegal
immigration. However, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found
that just 32% of America?s Political Class agrees.
Interesting. Yet they think illegal immigration isn't a priority issue. What a bunch of bullshit.
72% Want More Military Action Against Pirates
Seventy-two percent (72%) of U.S. voters say the United States should take more
military action to prevent further piracy against American and other ships off
Africas east coast. Twelve percent (12%) are opposed to any further U.S. military
action against the pirates, and 16% are not sure, according to a new Rasmussen
Reports national telephone survey.
Military action? What the fuck kind of military action? Why don't we allow these ships to defend themselves against pirates? They are out there on the water as lame ducks. Then you wonder why they get fucking attacked.
Latest Generic Ballot Shows Republicans and Democrats in a Dead Heat
Support for the Democrats fell two points this week, while support for the GOP candidates fell one point. Last week, the Democrats were ahead by just a 40% to 39% margin.
Good. Americans are getting tired of the liberalism so they're going to turn to the conservatives. I love it. It's great fun watching the two parties play musical chairs.

Some Mexicans leaving US, planning never to return
After going months without a full-time job, Daniel Ramirez has decided it's time to return to family in Mexico.Vicenta Rodriguez Lopez says she can't afford to live in Colorado any more because her husband was deported.
Roberto Espinoza is going back, too. After 18 years as a mechanic for a General Motors dealership in Denver, his work permit wasn't renewed and he didn't want to remain in the country illegally
I guess this economic downturn does have some positives. Its working some things out. Like lower gas prices and making the illegals leave the country. Less illegals mean more jobs for American citizens. Lower gas prices help out those who are hurting in these rough economic times.
Maybe things won't be so bad after all. Or am I naive for thinking so?

Rasmussen Reports 12.5.08
46% Say Congress Should Be Able To Override Presidential Pardons
Forty-six percent (46%) of U.S. voters say Congress should be able to overturn
presidential pardons it thinks are unjustified, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Thirty-seven percent (37%) believe Congress should not have that power, and 18% are undecided.
Seventy-four percent (74%) of U.S. voters continue to believe the federal government is not doing enough to secure the country's borders, even as President-elect Obama has named a new secretary of Homeland Security who is opposed to a border fence.I agree with this, too. Why are our politicians so afraid to do anything about illegal immigration? They seem to care more about some shithole in the middle east than what is going on in our own backyards. Something needs to be done about border security but no one wants to do anything. I assume its only gonna get worse with Janet Napolitano as Homeland Security Secretary. She hasn't done anything to curb illegal immigration here in Arizona. She even criticized Sheriff Joe Arpaio for doing his job of rounding up the illegals. We need more people like him in the system. If these illegal fucks don't want to immigrate to this country legally, then they shouldn't come at all. And if they do come, they should be deported A.S.A.P. Screw amnesty. I am sick of this country catering to everyone. Illegal immigrants have NO rights and they should be treated as such. Don't give me none of this human rights bullshit. If they want to come here, they should do it legally or face the consequences. I'm tired of this country giving the illegals a free ride.
Pennsylvania Senate: Specter 46% Matthews 43%I personally think Matthews should stick to his MSNBC show and leave the politics for the big boys. He does fine as a political commentator, so why the change?
Republican Senator Arlen Specter is potentially vulnerable in his 2010 bid for re-election. A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Pennsylvania voters finds Specter leading MSNBC pundit Chris Matthews by just three percentage points, 46% to 43%, in a match-up that may foreshadow one of the nation's most closely-watched Senate races.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Minnesota voters now expect incumbent Republican Norm Coleman to beat Democrat Al Franken in the state’s U.S. Senate race, according to a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Minnesota taken Thursday night.I dont' really care who wins this one. Democrats have 58 seats in congress now? I think that's plenty. Who's to say they can't pick up a few moderate Republicans?

America's Official Language?
And I am appalled that the assholes in our useless congress have yet to pass a bill signifying English as America's official language. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton being two of the members of congress that voted against it. What they did was anti-American. This country seems to care more about these illegal immigrants than they do about their own citizens. These immigrants have more fucking rights than us. I am tired of it. I say we close the border. If you're out of the country, stay the fuck out, and if you're here and legal, you stay here, but if you're not, you're thrown the fuck out. One way to stop this illegal immigration is to shoot these illegal fucks on sight. I bet you this would slow down the crossing of the border. In fact, I'm sure these fucks would be running the other way.
