One-Out-of-Seven Favor 90% Tax Rate for Millionaires

One-Out-of-Seven Favor 90% Tax Rate for Millionaires

Just one-out-of-seven Americans (14%) would like to see a 90% tax rate on earnings
above a million dollars a year. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone
survey finds that 74% are opposed to such a high tax rate for the nation's highest
earners. Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans oppose the 90% tax rate, along
with 66% of Democrats and 72% of those not affiliated with either major party.

I'm all for someone paying their fair share in taxes, but you have to agree that 90% is way more than their fair share. It's the socialism that the Republicans accused Obama of advocating when he only supported a measly 3-4% increase in taxes -- the same rate of the Clinton years. They shouldn't bitch, that tax rate is lower than it was when their savior -- Ronald Reagan was president. The tax rate right now, is what, 36%? Obama is gonna raise it to 39%? The highest tax rate I'd support would be 50%. I don't care how much you earn, if the government came along and took half of your earnings away I'm sure you'd be pissed, right? But I don't know what word to describe what I'd be if the government came along and took 90% of my earnings...that's just plain robbery.

And speaking of tax hikes....I found this interesting: More Voters Than Ever Say Tax Cuts Help the Economy

Now I don't adhere to any ideology. I believe in doing what's right. In a faltering economy, I don't think raising taxes is the right thing to do - to anyone. When and (a minor if) the economy gets going again, and is strong, then I'd support raising taxes, but only then.

Now before I get called a right-winger like I have been called already today...I just told you, I don't adhere to an ideology. I don't believe in the right wing ways of doing things or the left ways of doing things. Sure, there's some policies on both sides of the aisle that I find appealing, but I do not "belong" to either side. I am a registered independent. Always have been and always will be. I don't care which side of the aisle you cling to, if you do something that I don't like I am going to bash you for it. I won't kiss either side's ass. You both suck in my humble opinion and have done nothing but bring this country down further into the hellhole it is in. The fun part is sitting and watching you two blame each other for it. You're both to fucking blame. I would say that you should work together to fix things -- but history shows that really isn't a good idea, either. When you guys work together, the American people get a double fucking up the ass. So yeah, every 4-8 years you guys take turns in fucking the American people up the ass and that's fine...just as long as it isn't a bipartisan fuckeroo.

Now, I hope I cleared things up. If not, let me know in the comments.

30% Say Government Should Limit Pay for Athletes and Movie Stars

30% Say Government Should Limit Pay for Athletes and Movie Stars

While a great deal of public anger is focused at corporate executives these days,
Johnny Depp and the Boys of Summer don't fare much better. Thirty percent (30%) of
Americans believe the government should make it illegal to pay movie stars and
athletes more than $1 million per year.

This is ridiculous. Now I agree that movie stars and athletes are overpaid, but having government come in to wipe them out is bullshit. It's not like they don't pay taxes. The more they make, the more they pay in taxes.

Who are the 30% that support something like this? They're a bunch of idiots in my humble opinion.

I just added a Cuss-O-Meter to the blog. It supposedly analyzes each post in this blog and determines how much of it contains cuss words. I'm rather disappointed. According to the Cuss-O-Meter, only 24.2% of this blog contains cuss words. Only 24.2%! The meter claims 24.% is high, but it ain't high enough for me. Especially since the average cuss level is 369%!

This is 93% LESS than other websites who took this test.

I guess I am gonna have to work on bringing up the score.

Anyway, if you want the Cuss-O-Meter for your own blog/website, grab it here:

If you do add it to your site, please come back here and let me know what your score is, leave a link back to your site and I will check it out for myself :)

This is what I'm fucking talking about

Today's post comes from Phuck Politics. I encourage you to check out that site for more great posts like this...

Stick beating

Why can't we do this shit?
Pakistan's opposition leader defied house arrest on Sunday to join anti-government protests that quickly descended into violence and chaos, with running battles between stone-throwing protesters and police.

Smashed windows. Torched tires. Throwing stones. Beating people with sticks. These motherfuckers know how to stage a goddamn protest.

And what drove them to this? Was it because their country was being overran by a bunch of business assholes? Were they forced to use their hard earn money to bailout their financial industry? Was their government allowing corporations to give bonuses using their money?

Fuck no. All this awesome shit went down because they wanted a judge reinstated.

So why don't we do that here? Why aren't we taking to the streets? Why aren't we burning tires and chase down police officers with sticks? Why aren't we screaming at the top of our lungs over how bad our government is butt fucking us?

Because we're pussies.

We would rather sit in our overpriced houses, watch over expensive Blu-Ray DVDs, eat large quantities of unhealthy fast food, and cry ourselves to sleep. We make excuses like, "I can't make a difference." and "The government's too big for a person like me to change." and "What can I do? I'm just a big fat cum stain."

What a bunch of horseshit.

We've become a nation of pussies. We worry more about men fucking other men and our stupid fucking gun laws, than we do about the Wall Street cunts stealing our money.

That's why I'm glad our economy is failing. That's why I'm excited to turn on the news and see some crazy asshole kill a bunch of random people. That's why I'm happy to hear about bridges collapsing during rush hour traffic. That's why my dick gets hard when I read about governors cutting education funding because they want to prove some kind of point.

I'm glad our country is falling into chaos because you lazy, cock sucking assholes deserve it.

You're the ones who elected Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush. You're the ones who are responsible for the deregulation that has gone on on Wall Street since the 1980's. You're the reason why future generations will be forced to suck some white guy's dick for five dollars.

So I can't wait until you walk in on your little Suzie getting jizzed on by a pack of middle-aged Wall Street executives so she can put food on your goddamn table since you lost your job due to outsourcing - you fucking piece of deserve it.

Spring is here

Spring is here. Well, actually, spring has been here in Arizona for the past three weeks or so. Everything is budding and it's getting warmer...and I can't stop sneezing and blowing my nose. It's been three weeks of spring and I am tired of it. I can't wait until it's over. For the rest of you who don't suffer from seasonal allergies and do enjoy the spring, well I wish you a happy spring. As for me and the rest of the allergy sufferers, we shall remain miserable. Though, I suppose I shouldn't speak for the rest of the allergy sufferers, but I know I am and will remain miserable until this bloody spring springs into summer.

79% Support U.S. Troops on the Border to Fight Drug Violence

According to Rasmussen...

79% Support U.S. Troops on the Border to Fight Drug Violence

Seventy-nine percent (79%) of U.S. voters now say the military should be used along
the border with Mexico to protect American citizens if drug-related violence
continues to grow in that area. This marks a 21-point jump in support for the use
of the U.S. military along the border in just two months.

All I have to say about this is....legalize these drugs and you'll see the drug-related violence decrease. Common sense people. Or is it uncommon sense? Because common sense doesn't seem to be too common anymore.

Bad News for Democrats

According to Rasmussen...

Support for the Democratic Congressional candidates fell to a new low over the past week, allowing the GOP to move slightly head for the first time in recent years in the Generic Congressional Ballot.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 39% would choose the Democrat.

Investors now favor Republicans by a 46% to 36% margin, while non-investors would vote Democratic by a 45% to 33% margin.

If this keeps up, Democrats are gonna be in trouble in 2010 and 2012. I may even vote for the Republican candidate for President in 2012 myself if Obama keeps showing his hypocrisy and succeeds in being a hypocrite. Let this be a warning to you Obama and the Dems. Get your shit together and govern from the center or else you will face casualties in the next 2-4 years.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I'm probably the last one to wish everyone a Happy St. Patty's day, but better late than never, right? Hope you all had a good one!

Take care,

Things Are Looking Up

According to Rasmussen...

Consumer Confidence Reaches Highest Level Since November

After five days of steady gains, consumer confidence is now at its highest level
of 2009. In fact, confidence is now at the highest level since the morning after
Barack Obama was elected President in November.
The Rasmussen Consumer Index, which measures consumer confidence on a daily basis,
moved up another point on Sunday to 67.0.

I guess things are starting to look up. Now who will take the credit? Will it be President George Bush or will it be President Obama? What do you think?

I don't really care either way. As long as things start to get better and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it's alright by me.

Obama Administration Is Open to Taxing Health Benefits

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president could support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for overhauling the health care system.

The proposal is politically problematic for President Obama, however, since it is similar to one he denounced in the presidential campaign as “the largest middle-class tax increase in history.” Most Americans with insurance get it from their employers, and taxing workers for the benefit is opposed by union leaders and some businesses.

In television advertisements last fall, Mr. Obama criticized his Republican rival for the presidency, Senator John McCain of Arizona, for proposing to tax all employer-provided health benefits. The benefits have long been tax-free, regardless of how generous they are or how much an employee earns. The advertisements did not point out that Mr. McCain, in exchange, wanted to give all families a tax credit to subsidize the purchase of coverage.

What a fucking hypocrite. Fuck you, Obama. Keep this shit up and you can kiss 2012 goodbye.

Obama considering plan to make vets pay own insurance

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance.

This is real nice. Obama supports some sort of national health care system, but wants to force our veterans to pay for service related injuries? Sounds contradictory to me. What happened to supporting our troops? One of the reasons our veterans join the service in the first place was for the great benefits.

Charging for service-related injuries would violate "a sacred trust," Veterans of Foreign Wars spokesman Joe Davis said. Davis said the move would risk private health care for veterans and their families by potentially maxing out benefits paying for costly war injury treatments.

This plan sounds more like a Republican's than a Democrat's to me. Usually the Republicans are the ones sending our young men and women off to war and then neglecting the veterans when they come home.

So much for positive change, eh? More like change for the worse. Change this, change that. All these troops are left with is fucking pocket change and Obama wants them to pay for their own work related injuries. Real fucking good. Fuck Obama. I hope the Dumbocrats have enough balls to vote against this bullshit plan.

"I believe that veterans with service-connected injuries have already paid by putting their lives on the line," Murray said in her remarks. "I don't think we should nickel and dime them for their care."
Eleven of the most prominent veterans organizations have been lobbying Congress to oppose the idea. In the letter sent last week to the president, the groups warned that the idea "is wholly unacceptable and a total abrogation of our government's moral and legal responsibility to the men and women who have sacrificed so much."

A second stimulus package...

I keep hearing about a second stimulus package. What the fuck? The first stimulus package hasn't even been put in effect yet and they're thinking about a second one? They don't even know if the first one will work yet but they still think it's a good idea to bring out another one? This is ridiculous. A $700-800 billion stimulus package isn't enough? I can't even remember how much the first stimulus package was. It was an inconceivable amount. I just can't believe the bullshit that is going on in Washington. Spend, spend, spend. The attitude seems to be "have a problem? Just throw money at it and it will go away." Well I hope it works. Otherwise we're all fucked. Actually, I think we're all fucked regardless. Maybe if it works we'll be fucked a bit less but still fucked nonetheless.

Well, enjoy your fucking, America.

Daylight Savings Time Begins

For all of you unfortunate souls out there who live anywhere other than Arizona and some parts of Indiana, daylight savings time begins. Tonight you have to set your clocks forward to "save" daylight. Daylight savings time is unnecessary in this day and age as far as I'm concerned. It's outdated and quite a hassle that comes twice a year. I think it's time to retire this practice of trying to save "daylight." One of the joys of living in Arizona is that the time doesn't change. Half of the year we're on Mountain time, and the other half, we're on Pacific time. Everyone changes, while we stay the same. Maybe one day the rest of the country will catch up with us.

Ex-Governor Blagojevich gets a book deal

I know I am probably the last person to report on this, but I only heard about it the other day. In my search of something to blog about, I came across the article again.

Is this becoming a new fad? Does every nutcase who has lost an election (Sarah Palin) or been removed from office (Blagojevitch) or who has made a fool of himself (Joe the Plumber) deserve a book deal? What the fuck is this? Who is going to want to read Blagojebitch's book? What could he possibly have to write about that is the least bit interesting? The same goes for Palin and Joe the Plumber - who has incidentally already written his book, had it published and is on store shelves right now. How the hell did he write a book so fast? Its only been about 5 months since he made a fool of himself publicly. Is that really all it takes? Coming from the reviews on Amazon, the book seemed to be hastily put together, with spelling errors and all. The reviews are a riot, you should check them out for a good laugh.

I guess it's time for me to write my book. I don't think my life is that interesting, but eh, if these idiots can write a book and sell it, I guess I can too. Who would be willing to read it? Give me a shout of inspiration!

Tired of hearing about Rush Limbaugh

Am I the only one that is tired of hearing about Rush Limbaugh? If I wanted to hear anything from or about Rush Limpballs, I would tune into his radio show. But I don't do that, you wanna know why? Because I do not give a shit about that fat fuck. I do not care what he has to say. I don't give two shits about Rush Limpballs and I am tired of hearing his name being thrown around. Fuck Rush Limpballs. I hope he falls off the face of the Earth.
